Based on a recent study,* here is a sample of the top things that agents have reported to have challenges with and want to do more of in 2020.
Generating more leads
More leads equals more potential income, but be smart about how you go about this. Make sure you are exhausting your personal contacts for repeat business and referrals first as it’s easier and cheaper to convert warm leads. Do this with things like regular email campaigns and consistent branding with social media. Once that is mastered, then move on to things like paid advertising such as targeted online ads either on Facebook or Google. Be sure to channel all of these contacts to a net, your personal website, and make it extremely easy to contact you with a live chat function like the ones we add on our Rockhopper Media Group website products.
“Within a couple of days of adding the live chat function to our development website, we have already fostered more communication from visitor leads.”

Increase social media efforts
Every post that you do on social media is like another commercial for your business. Select a range of post types to appeal to all and most importantly, be consistent. Regular weekly posts are recommended to stay at the forefront of your followers’ minds when they think about real estate.
Generating more content for my website
Blog articles are great and versatile for adding content to your website and you can get a lot out of them. They keep your website fresh with new material for returning visitors, they add content for SEO value and you can share links to the posts in your email campaigns or on your social media platforms to help drive more traffic to your website. Great topics include market trends, homeownership tips, real estate news or even local features on hot spots in the neighborhoods that you represent.
